Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the rules and restrictions for using the services provided by Zartash Technologies (Private) Limited (“Zartash Technologies,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) including hosting, domains, email, website design, marketing, and all other related services offered through https://zartash.com.

By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension, termination, or legal action without prior notice.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all customers use Zartash Technologies’ services responsibly, ethically, and lawfully, while protecting the integrity, security, and reputation of our systems and network.

2. Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to use our services for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

2.1. Illegal or Unlawful Use

  • Hosting, distributing, or promoting content that violates any applicable law in Pakistan or internationally.
  • Engaging in fraud, phishing, money laundering, or identity theft.
  • Hosting or linking to copyrighted materials without proper authorization.

2.2. Spam and Email Abuse

  • Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam) or messages through our servers.
  • Using our mail servers or any hosted domain for spamming, phishing, or deceptive marketing.
  • Misusing mailing lists or subscription-based communications without valid user consent.

2.3. Security Violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any server, account, or network.
  • Performing denial-of-service (DoS), distributed denial-of-service (DDoS), or hacking attempts.
  • Uploading malicious code, viruses, or scripts designed to damage or disrupt systems.

2.4. Offensive or Harmful Content

  • Hosting or transmitting pornography, adult content, hate speech, or content inciting violence.
  • Promoting discrimination based on religion, gender, race, or nationality.
  • Any content that could harm minors in any way.

2.5. Resource Abuse

  • Using excessive CPU, memory, bandwidth, or disk space beyond fair usage limits.
  • Running resource-intensive scripts, bots, or background processes on shared hosting.
  • Using shared servers for cryptocurrency mining, proxy hosting, or file sharing.

3. Hosting and Domain Usage

  • All hosted websites must comply with this AUP and applicable ICANN regulations.
  • Domains and hosting accounts found violating any rule may be suspended without refund.
  • Clients are responsible for managing and renewing their domains and ensuring accuracy in WHOIS data.

4. Data Protection and Privacy

  • Users must not store or transmit personal data without complying with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR or local privacy laws).
  • We maintain security measures to protect customer data but are not liable for data loss due to client-side negligence or third-party compromise.

5. Network and System Security

You may not:

  • Interfere with the normal operation of our servers or networks.
  • Use scripts or automation tools that degrade system performance.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Zartash Technologies system or network without authorization.

6. Content Ownership and Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content hosted under your account.
Zartash Technologies does not monitor customer content but reserves the right to:

  • Remove or disable access to any content that violates this AUP,
  • Report illegal activities to relevant authorities, and
  • Cooperate with law enforcement when required.

7. Enforcement and Consequences

Violation of this policy may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of services without refund,
  • Permanent ban from future services, and
  • Reporting to legal or regulatory authorities if necessary.

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this policy.

8. Fair Usage Policy

Zartash Technologies applies fair usage limits to ensure optimal performance for all users.
If your usage exceeds reasonable limits, we may:

  • Request you to upgrade your plan, or
  • Restrict service usage to maintain system stability.

9. Reporting Violations

If you believe this policy is being violated, please report it with full details (including IP address, domain, and evidence) to:

10. Changes to This Policy

We may modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time.
